Sato Kaida, or Kaida Sato as her American friends know her

Kaida was born in Tokyo in 1989, though her parents relocated to Seattle shortly after she was born. Kaida had the normal American childhood, school, friends etc. However, when it came time for college, she decided to return to Japan, since her grandfather was on the board of trustees of the University of Tokyo. Near the end of her first year, shortly before the incident, she found that she was suddenly stronger and more agile. She didn't know what to think, so she kept silent, hoping an answer would one day come to her
